Research team

Our inter- and transdisciplinary research team is made up of experts working at the interface of conservation science, policy and practice. The experience and knowledge of this team spans across environmental economics, environmental psychology, decision science, rural sociology, policy analysis and social science.

Ascelin Gordon

Ascelin’s research interests are around interdisciplinary problems in conservation science. Most of his previous research has focused on developing quantitative and qualitative approaches for understanding the impacts of environmental policies and programs on biodiversity values in the landscape. He has undertaken extensive research on biodiversity offsetting, impact evaluation for conservation, conservation planning, spatial prioritization and private land conservation.

Sayed Iftekhar
